September 4, 200619 yr In the realm of Flight Simulator, can any gurus shed some light on the better scenario to have...I have two hard drives in my system - One gets about [green]128[/green] MB/s, but has a random seek time at [red]13[/red]msThe other gets [red]80[/red] MB/s, but has a random seek time at [green]8[/green]msWhich of the two would you put MSFS on?WIth so many little files (BGL's and Textures) I'd imagine that the lower seek time drive would be more suitable as it can get to the files faster. With so much to load before flying (lots of files and textures), perhaps the higher bandwidth drive would be more suitable as it can brute-force load them faster. What would be your bias in this situation?! :)-Greg
