Computer for FSX

Featured Replies

I was wondering if my computer would work good with the upcoming FSX-My specs are :Dell 82502.8 ghz processor Pentium 41.5 gig memoryATI 9700 Pro19 inch widescreen monitor80 gig hard driveI have only about 16 gigs of space on my hard drive available and I am considering a new internal hard drive (2nd hard drive). Any suggestions would be appriciated as well as comments.ThanksMatt

Have you tried the FSX demo yet? Whilst it is not the final release version and some performance optimisations have occurred since the demo was released, it does give an idea of what to expect with your hardware. Given that your CPU and video card are a couple of years old now, I wouldn't expect too much out of FSX if I were you. If you stay close to the autodetected slider settings, then it should be OK. And that 16G of hard drive space will be gobbled up pretty quickly, so that extra hard drive will come in handy.Gary
