October 13, 200619 yr With the improvements in FSX multiplayer, I am interested in trying multiplayer. I don't currently have a headset or mic. What recommendations do you folks have for a reasonably priced headset? If I am going to use FSX's improved surround sound capabilities, am I missing some of that experience by wearing a headset?I am looking to use the same gear for other mutliplayer games like Battlefield 2 and possibly for some internet calling. Thanks!Tony
October 13, 200619 yr According to members of the ACES team, if you have a headset connected to a second soundcard you can have ATC on your headset while all other sounds will be generated by the primary card. If that is the case, an USB headset with built-in soundcard might be best. They are more expensive though than regular headsets.Allard.
