Which Video drivers?

Featured Replies

I bought the Leadtek Winfast 7950GT TDH video card and whilst I am waiting for the Mother board (had to order it) I am thinking what drivers should I use. On the leadtek site there are already newer drivers for this board and it seems that Nvidea lately had also a new seet of drivers. What is the best way to go, downlaod the drivers from Leadtek or use the nvidea drivers.

The latest drivers are usually, but not always, the best to use. The Leadtek ones will be more guaranteed compatible with your card, but most vendors stray very little from the nVidia base design spec, hence the nVidia generic drivers are just as good. There are also enthusiast modified versions of drivers out there, which some people swear by, but I've seen little visual or performance difference between them and the stock nVidia drivers. Take your pick!Gary

I also noted that Leadtek have also a video BIOS update, is it good to update the BIOS, I never did something like that.
