Beta driver 93.81 for GF 7950

Hi All:Has anyone installed the latest Beta driver 93.81.I am currently running a Duo Core with a Nvida GF 7950 video Card.with the latest driver 93.71.I have reported crashes on this forum, and am thinking of downloading this beta driver.If anyone is currently using this driver can you advise if there is any difference in this and the latest driver.Tks. for any comments.Kenny G.

Hey Kenny. I have the same card you do and a dual core machine as well. I've tried every single driver revision in the 9 series, beta versions, tweaked, you name it. Best overall performer for me so far is the stock 91.47's. They're stable, smoother and faster for FSX and all my other games than any other revisions. I get 6-8 fps more with those over the 93.71s in FSX, and about 15 fps more in Medieval Total War 2 (I like breaking things). :)Nvidia did something wrong with regards to that card sometime between 92.91 and 93.71 I think.There's some useful info to be gleaned from the nvidia forums at www.guru3d.com but you have to be prepared to spend some time sifting through all the 8800 GTS owner crybaby posts and "e-flexing". Most of the guys in there spend more time running 3dmark than actually playing games I think. ;)Best of luck.
