XP, FS2002 pro and not enought memory available error

Featured Replies

Hello,I did upgrade my PC to XP PRO, Pentium 2.4 , 1 Gbyte memory, video gf4 ti 4600. Several times I receive (even after power on-off) the following error message when I start FS2002 " your computer does not have enought memory available for flight simulator to run. Flight simulator will now exit" .....When I check with Alt+Ctrl+delete there is more than 700 K memory available.Any recommendation?

Set your page file to 512/512and have it on a drive/partition that your operating system IS NOT on and let us know if that helps

I have not seen this message with FS2002 but in previous versions, it meant that you did not have enough free space on your disk drive for FS to create its swap file. How much HD space do you have available? R-
