I am currently experiencing long pauses where the sim is freezing for between 2-4 seconds before continuing.... I have opened the task manager and can see the CPU Usage drops to 2 or 3% for the time the sim is frozen before returning to 100%. I have not come across this problem before and as you can imagine is very annoying... the pauses happen every 30 - 60 seconds wherever I fly in the world. I am running a 6600 Core Duo + Track IR4 + Active Sky.... any suggestions or ideas would be very welcome.....

Hi Hamish,Could be one or more background processes running that are stealing CPU time from the sim. I'd look at antiviral and antispyware applications set to run automatically. Then try to either turn them off or remove them for another system friendlier option.Regards, Jim Karn
