Any thoughts or opinions on the above referenced 512mb video card?I've got a system ordered with this card to buy me a little time between an upgrade to an 8800 in the future and was wandering how it would perform with FS9 and the PMDG software. I'm getting the E6600 processor to run it for now.gremel

I would upgrade it to either your 8800 now if you have the cash, or if you want an interim card, I would go for the X1950 Pro.The X1600 Pro is NOT good......I think a 7600GT actually beats it quite handily.Glenn

I wouldn't settle right now for anything less than a X1900 (any version) or 7900 from nVidia. The X1600 series is a tad outdated and for just a few bucks more you can get a very good performer.If you want to be on the bleeding edge and have $500 to spare definitely got for a nVidia 8800.Good luck!Pat
