March 2, 200719 yr Just put in a new 7950 nvidea card and no way does a guy spend 400 bucks on some thing that looks like this .My FX5600 was better. Any one out there who is satisfied with there's , can you post me your settings? i've tried just about every thing and many FS9 config confiqurations that i've seen on various tweak sites .Here's my dilima, down around and below 18000 ft. coming into to towns or cities i find it worst . It's shimmies and kinds a jaggy but not right in front down there below and around the airplane , it's further like in the center of the screen,up around the centre of the scenery and further up the scenery at the top of the screen it seems to be ok -kinda hard to explain. Here's the kicker, when you bank the aircraft it clears up nice -more you bank clearer it gets-go into level flight , as you straighten out level it get's shimmering again .Don't know what to tell you -got 3 gig of ram -res at 1600x1200 -AMD Athlon 64 processor 3800 2.41 Ghz-tried all kinds of AF 4x -16 x tried this and that and yes AA is off in the sim - running 93.71 drivers i think it is. Now when you go to add -remove programs and you see a program it will tell you how large it is well for display drivers there is no size there so is that normal? What i mean is -control panel -add remove programs - come to let's say -Legendary C-130 to the right where it says -SIZE it has 4,730MB but when i come to display drivers there is nothing about the size just blank but if you go in the driver section it does show -6.1 some thing or other and 93.71 .I also have Ground Enviroment in -not the pro - and how do i tell if it's in cause to tell you the truth i don't see a heck of a lot of difference. -They say you go into the files and look at the dates but i don't know where to go . I'll give you my settings -in the -manage 3D section from the top down Anistropic filtering ant sample op -offAA setting 2xQconformat texture clamp- use open gl spec.extension limit -offforce mipmaps trigamma correct aa onhard ware acc-single display perf modeneg LOD bias -clamptex filterhigh perftransparency aa-offtri optimization-off vertical sync-use 3 d appWell sure hope i get a reply on this ---Thanks guys- Louis

March 2, 200719 yr Sounds like you have the driver settings in the nvidia control panel set to performance instead of quality.________________________________________________________________________________________________Intel D975XBX2 'Bad Axe 2' | Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 3.20Ghz | 2 GB Super Talent DDR2 800 | Big Typhoon VX | eVGA 8800GTS @ 565/900 | Seagate 2x320GB SATA RAID-0 | OCZ GameXStream 700W | Creative X-Fi | Silverstone TJ-09BW | Matrox Triplehead Setup
March 2, 200719 yr My oh my- here i've been banging my head against the wall and don't know which of the above fixed it but it's way way better , little bit of shim coming in to O'HARE from default Mig's but i can live with it. The only one i didn't set or check is if the driver setting in the control panel is set to performance instead of quality cause didn't know where to look but i set the display driver to quality - it was set at balanced. Got it all printed out for next time ---thanks a bunch guys---Louis --Alberta Canada
