May 4, 200719 yr I have previously implemented a NVIDIA VCG8800GTX, 768MB Video card with dual monitors along with a secondary Diamond Stealth III S540 PCI card for a third monitor. My PCI card seems to have bitten the dust. It shows no errors in the System Devices, and the green light on the front of the monitor comes on during bootup somewhat indicating reception of a signal, but the screen remains black and I cannot enable it in the Properties/Settings/Advanced options any longer. The monitor works fine if I switch it to my 8800GTX card so I don't believe it is the monitor. (Has worked for years until I turned it on this morning)I am thinking of purchasing a less expensive Nvidia GEForce 8 series card for my seconday video card, but I want to be sure this will work. Earlier, I thought a combination of the series 8 would work with series 7 or below (Dual PCI Express 16 slots), but learned that there is a conflict in driver requirements and that this would not work. If I understand correctly, this is not the case with combinations between the series 8 cards and would allow me the potential of a four monitor display.I am presently useing the May 2, 2007 Version 158.22 drivers for Windows XP. The Release 158 Notes state that these drivers are applicable to the following models:8800GTX8800GTS8800Ultra8600GTS8000GT8500GT8400GS8300GSMy first question is: Am I correct in interpreting that theseNVIDIA drivers in common will supply any combination of dual NVIDIA GEForce series 8 cards, NOT in SLI mode, supplying more than two monitors?Second questions: Does anyone reading this have a combination of an8800GTX with any of the lesser cards listed, NOT in SLI mode supplying three or four monitors? (Multiple monitors is a MUST to me personally in flightsim). If so, which combination do you have, how pleased with it are you, and do you have any recommendations? Thanks:RTHEdit: For what it is worth, my system specs are as follows:ASUS P5N-E-SLI MotherboardIntel E6600 Core2 Duo CPUZalman CNPS7700-CU RT CPU Fam4 GB KST DII800 MemoryWinXP ProNVIDIA VCG8800GTX 768MB Video Graphics Card21
