July 29, 200718 yr Does anybody know how to tone down the brightness of FS9 Kneeboard? Or perhaps change the background colour? The glare discourages its usefulness for Checklists.Alex Reid
July 31, 200718 yr One way is to go into the *check.htm file for the aircraft concerned and changetoor an RGB value egRegardsJim
July 31, 200718 yr Author Jim- Bingo!! Just what I was looking for. "When you're stumped- ask an expert". Body colour 888888 was perfect- makes Checklists very useful. Since AVSIM software seems to reject triple mon screenshots (despite being only 60kb JPEG), I'll send you one via Email.) Thank you !!!Alex Reid

August 13, 200718 yr Author Since Jim was kind enough to relay & post this pic via his Webspace, I have tried every which way to post a screenshot. After setting up everything- choosing attachment/ticking JPEG etc, when I hit POST, pic & message disappear into outer space- never to be seen again AND I'm logged off - even though Remain Logged On was clicked. Pics are JPEG- usually about 50KB. They send normally via Email.Pics are selected by clicking/highlighting an image in My Pictures- and I get an AVSIM upload # OK. They are full monitor width-1/3 monitor high & show in My Pics as JPEG-50KB approx. I have also tried reducing to 800 width-still no go.Help anyone? Even one of the Screenshot Forum moderators could not explain! Alex Reid
