I have 4 joysticks installed on my machine, two MS game pad pros, one MS FF2 and a Thrust Master Ferrari FF wheel, all of which are USB connected. They all work fine however, I cannot get the TM wheel to be seen as the #1 device in XP. I have tried installing and uninstalling all of them in different orders and I am at my wits ends here. In windows 98 I could assign them myself but in XP it only allows you to set one of them as "preffered device" but this still does not work as seeing the wheel as #1. Any ideas on how to get my wheel as the controller #1? It's making using the pedals for a rudder hellish to say the least. Surely their must be a fix or a way around this?

No one has this problem but me?

I remember a discussion a long time ago that there is no way to assign the position in XP like there was in 98/ME. You might try searching the Microsoft website.
