Featured Replies

Hello,I know there has been a lot of posts about this, and a lot of them are being ignored, but i have searched and searched for the anwser to this, and i cant find anything, so PLEASE help me out here if you dont :)----------------I just built a new pc, but i have yet to get a video card for it, and i was wondering what video card you would recomend, that is reasonable priced, and not a $500 gfx card. The maximum i can afford is around $250 - 300 Max. The cheaper the better, but i want one that will allow FSX to run on full graphics (Minus the Vehicle Traffic, if needed)Here are my system specs that may help you be able to help me better:AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ (Dual Core)2GB DDR2 800 Ram (I can add more if needed)SATA3 320GB Hard Drive(Currently using onboard video, thats why im asking about a card)Motherboard is Gigabyte GA-M61P-S3 rev 1.0Any help would be great!, and I will be sure to return the favor to anyone else who needs help in the FSX World!

Right now for value/preformance try a evga 8800GTS 320mb.If you can wait a couple weeks a new $250 card the 8800GT 512MB is coming, that comes close to the $600 8800GTX cards in performance!http://www.theinquirer.net/gb/inquirer/new...92-scores-outed

Hmm... So the new 8800GT 512MB Card is only going to cost $250, and it will be close to the performance of the 8800GTX?Are you sure its coming out in a couple of weeks? do you know what companies are going to be making it first? (eg. EVGA, etc.)Is there a exact set date on when its being released that you know of?Thanks for the heads up on the new video card too, i think i might wait for it instead of paying $290 for the 8800GTS.
