November 2, 200718 yr Hi!I got the new throttle quadrant from Saitek and I really like it. I have a little problem though. I can't calibrate the X and Y axis. The Z axis is fine, runs smoothly from 0 to 100 % in FSX (and IL-2), but the other two axis starts at 50 % and goes up to 100 % very fast on the last centimeter of travel. The deadzones are exactly the same for all axis and experimenting with different settings does not solve the problem (unless I'm doing something wrong). On the test page, the red bars move smoothly for all three axis from 0 to 100 %, but in-game only the Z-axis does this. So the question is, how on earth do I calibrate??? There is no such button on the properties-page for the throttle unlike all the other units like joystick and such. Any ideas?/Magnus
November 2, 200718 yr There is no need to calibrate the newer Saitek products. You pretty much "calibrate" them by setting min/max and deadzones with the supplied software. One thing that usually helped for me is to unplug and replug and the calibration will automatically reset itself. I had a similar issue with the throttle that just would not center itself or reached 100% halfway through pushing the throttle.Good luck!Pat
November 2, 200718 yr Author Thanks for the answer! I just found the sollution on the Saitek forum. http://www.saitekforum.com/showthread.php?t=12809 I deleted the registryposts suggested in this thread and then everything was fine :-) /Magnus
