These have already been identified as hacks, as they are 13 series (DX8) not 14 (dx9=42xx) also many files are older than 42.01.but good guineapig bait though! :)

Yeah, I read some of the "hack" stories, and you may be right. I've read other stories that the DX9 support was temporarily dropped from the drivers for some technical reason. Who really knows? But, since the GeForce FX isn't out yet anyway, figured I'd give them a try.
