January 14, 200323 yr Does anyone know what the modes 1-3 are used for? Can they be program to have multiple assignments on a single button.
January 14, 200323 yr Commercial Member Yes, they can be used to create three different sets of control mappings for the buttons. I've found that you sometimes have to switch the modes back and forth once to "wake up" this feature, or at least I did on my X45. January 14, 200323 yr Bill,Did you use the saitek profile software to due this? If so do have a profile that would like to share.Regards,Bill
January 14, 200323 yr Commercial Member No, it turned out that the Saitek mapping software was a real dog (no offense to dogs) and crashed my computer repeatedly. I used Hazardscript to create all my profiles. You can find out more about Hazardscript, and a host of other things Saitek-related at http://saitekhelp.simhq.com/ -- it's possibly the best resource online for X36/45 users. I don't own my X45 anymore, having switched to a CH FighterStick USB, but that site really helped me when I needed it.good luck! July 24, 200322 yr Send me your email addy and I will send you a text file that I am using. We don't use the Saitek drivers or software, but you should be able to map the same buttons to the same functions. I downloaded the file and then made it "better". ;-)we r [email protected]
July 25, 200322 yr Actually the software works pretty good now. I use it and I have a good program for FS with the 3 modes :)
