Hey guys,I've just purchased the following hardware to build my new PC, will this run FSX on high settings quite easily?Vista 64 BitS775 nForce 680i SLI ATX A LIntel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz OEM2x2GB 240DIMM PC2-6400 Gold2 X 160Gb S300 8MB RAID 020x DVD WRITER OEM DRIVE NEROSM226BW 22" W TFT 2ms Swiv/TltGeForce 8800GTS 512MB PCIE DVI720W PSU Black 12cmAll comments are welcome.

You should be able to get a mixture of High and Ultra High settings (excluding traffic, I would keep mine at low-medium low). With SP1 installed, you should be able to move most of the scenery sliders high (but keep LOD radius at medium). Graphics should not at all be a problem, that's a very good video card. Note that you probably won't be able to max out every single slider, but by experimenting, you can get a mixture of good performance and a good looking world.By the way, have you looked into overclocking? It can make a world of difference.

Thanks Man,Yes apparently I can get a modest 3.2ghz, do you know otherwise?

Yeah, I've heard of people push a Core 2 Quad to 3.6 GHz, but I think that's with better cooling. 3.2 is still pretty good. I want to overclock the RAM and video card to when I get my new system.
