February 13, 200818 yr If you want very good overclockability but only 2 cores, go for the E8400. If you want less stuttering and faster loading in FSX, go for the Q6600.As for the video card, it is a very good card and I see no problems with it. The 8800 GT is slightly better, but is slightly more expensive and has slightly more problems than a 3870 :D.The motherboard, if you want to go for SLI (2 NVIDIA cards), then go for an nForce 650 or 680i. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813188012Which is right on the $200 mark and has excellent overclocking capabilities. If you want to go for CrossFire (2 ATi cards), then go with an ASUS P5******* series motherboard.4 GB of DDR2-800 cost me $108 (1 x 4 GB). The 2 x 2 GB config costs $124 on Newegg and I've heard 2 GB modules don't overclock as well as 1 GB modules and are still faulty since they're so new.A PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....tk=&srchInDesc=Browse through it.BoeingGuy Regards, BoeingGuy ASUS P5E X38 | Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 3.2 GHz on 1600 MHz FSB (400x8) | 4 GB DDR2-800 RAM | EVGA GeForce 8800 GT Superclocked @ 679/979 | 320 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 RPM HD
