March 31, 200818 yr As above, I've had this Joystick for years, but it's always suffered from slow panning on both fs2004 & FSX.It acts the same on XP & on Vista 64 sp1.(different machines & vastly different hardware)When I use mouse-look (FSX) using spacebar & mouse the VC panning view flies around, but using the HAT POV it's slow & stuttery.I've tried different saitek drivers over the years but none have helped. Is there a setting in fs2004 or FSX, where I can change the speed of the HAT POV scanning.I don't really want to buy another stick just for that problem. Any ideas greatfully acceptedPS, can you get mouse-look for FS2004?John
March 31, 200818 yr John I had this happen with my Saitek Cyborg Evo Force JS and it was due to the pan view being also assigned to a non-existent button whatever on my rudder pedals. Removing the duplicate assignments made it as fast as the mouse option.I don't think that you can use the mouse in FS2004 in the same way but you might be able to do it with Key2mouse from http://www.wideview.it/key2mouse.htm.RegardsPeter Hayes

March 31, 200818 yr Hi John, You could also go into FS9 CFG and change the pan rate, i think i'm right that the default speed is 400, try changing it to 800 . Just in case its, Documents and Settings/Your Name/Application Data/Microsoft/FS9/FS9CFG/Pan Rate in the list. Hope this helps, Cheers.
