Nvidia Control Panel profile experts out there?

Featured Replies

Has anybody got experience in adding a profile for FS 2004 within the driver's control panel (not using Nhancer)? I was successful in creating a profile that worked when launching FS, but mysteriously after last weeks Microsoft Update, it quit working for FS and I can no longer create ANY profile for ANY game from within Nvidia's control panel. It refuses to add it to the 'active profiles' list and instead reverses the syntax of the entry in the 'Applications' list. For example, this: FS 2004 (FS9.EXE) instead of how it should show: FS9.EXE 9 (FS 2004) AND no entry at all in the 'active profiles' list.I've delved into the file nvapp.xml to check what's in the profile list and a FS 2004 entry is listed there, but not in the pull down profile list in the control panel's list. It and a lot of other profiles are hidden as well (I deleted the FSX profile that it contained). I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong when trying to create a new profile here or is there anyway to modify the existing hidden profile without using Nhancer? And why did it work BEFORE Microsoft Update? :-grrWindows XP, GeForce 7950GT 512 vram and Nvidia Driver version 93.82Kim
