>guys plz > as i said i have a quad 6600/8gb/2.4 what graphic card>should i buy 8800 ultra or 8800 gt or 8800gts>>and what mobo> intel G SERIES WILL BE GOOD SHOULD I GO FOR G 35 OR HIGHERI answered in full about VCI was addressing the OP in his question about video cards as well as everyone elseIf you can get the Ultra its the best card but if you do not intend to clock the CPU or memory then its really not going to pay you to go with the better card --except--- for the frame buffer on the Ultra in running more monitorsAs for the boards... every one of those boards are budget board designs and are not designed for high clocking so your success with that (if you intend to clock) will be limited. Out of the choices you posted this one is probably your best bet but I have never used any of those products http://www.miditech.ps/index.php?action=sh...itemID=18&cat=74 monitors would like the frame buffer on the Ultra so the choice is yours8800 GT best budget to performance8800 Ultra best result possible

nickgive me a choises of some intel or other motherboards to buy it i will try to find themHERE SOME OTHER MOTHERBOARD http://www.miditech.ps/index.php?action=sh...s&catID=8&cat=5http://www.miditech.ps/index.php?action=sh...s&catID=7&cat=5http://www.miditech.ps/index.php?action=sh...s&catID=6&cat=5http://www.miditech.ps/index.php?action=sh...s&catID=9&cat=5http://www.miditech.ps/index.php?action=sh...s&catID=7&cat=5 IF THEY ARE NOT GONNA FUNCTION WELL ADVISE ME ON A TYPE TO BUY IT I WILL TRY TO FIND ITif i wanna run 4 monitor like this 3 for virtual cockpit and one cockpit what card is better bytheway i have a 1gb nvidia 8600GT IT IS GONNA BE GOOD AS SECOND CARDTANX

Best DDR3 board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813131334I personally use that one and have been on it for monthsExcellent DDR2 boards:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813131284http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813131219you get one of those and it will open the door to memory upgrades and all the tweaking you can handleI do not see anything of that type or quality listed at the website you postedThe P45 chipset along with the other asus boards are all budget boards, every one of them

Yea, I don't either. Look for a mobo with a P35 chipset made by Asus that has 2 "PCI-e" (Not just "PCI") slots. The Vcards need this. Those more expensive mobos are just the 1st of that huge additional expense a user will pay for that extra 10% in performance. And make sure you buy 2. If you follow the "get that extra 10%" advice, you will likely damage your mobo. It will be handy to have a spare.Buy an 8800GT Vcard. That's the best available for FS, however higher Vcards will provide improvements in other games.better. For the second Vcard, buy an 8400GS or the cheapest 8 series card available. We're seeing 8800GTs with 256 bit memory interfaces run side by side with the GTX280 with that big 512 bit memory interface in FS. Seems that if that Vcard memory interface was a FS improver, we'd see at least some improvement with that - Full - double in memory interface transfer capacity(Bandwidth). The cards simply don't need it. For instance that 8800GTX has a 384bit memory interface. If 512 bit doesn't help, how will 384? Geeze! It's just more wasted money trying to chase that last 10% in performance. Here's a baseline rig. http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWi...tNumber=7159746The big dog in FPS will be the CPU clock on a single core. We have some spirited conversations going on in the forum about faster ram, etc. That is all entirely about getting a single extra notch of AG or 10% more traffic. Hardly worth thousands of extra $$$, iMHo! The system above is within 10% of anything available at any price. And lets try to keep this civil. This is a nice guy that just wants a good FS rig . . . with no need to stand over the thing with a fire extinguisher.

Hi DanielFirst of all.. if you are not computer savvy and understand setting up a computer in a build you will have a learning curve which everyone must go though to deal with even for simple clocking and construction. If you have someone available who is experienced and who can assist you that would probably be a good idea especially if you have never built a system. Getting away from BIOS settings and tweaking.. even in a simplistic build there are things you must learn which can be devastating to the hardware if you do not install it properly. That being said, what I am going to post is based on GOOD hardware that allows you access to settings and tweaking the cheap hardware wont and will perform where the cheap hardware will not.Motherboard

nickthanx man about ur great infobut just confirm for me the 8800gt 512 is better then 8800gts?and u post one memo ram ddr2 4gb 1066mhz can i buy ddr2 2gb 1150mhz or 800mhz( 2x2gb)tanx againand if u do have a ready file for ur fsx graphic setting (when u do a graphic setup for the fsx like mish hardware weather ect.... u can save the file on flight simulator x files can u just upload it for me on www.zshare.netbest of regards

>nick> man i found this card 8800 ultra>>http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/se...VRqCjCVRqCjCVRq>>>>http://www.compusa.com/applications/search...VRqCjCVRqCjCVRq>>>>>are they excellent for fsx???>>tanxYes.. the 8800 Ultra would be the preferred card over all others based on lowest cost and 'top' performanceto answer your first questions... I would place the GTS 640 and the GT in just about the same perf class with the GTS a bit better on weather and high bandwidth scenery loads if you clock it correctly. At base core and memory speeds without clocking I would say the GT has a small advantage at that point.. So in essence they are fairly equal with the GTS having a bit better room for clocking than the GTMemory choice depends on what it is you intend to do. If you wish to clock then the higher speed memory would be a better choiceFSX needs 4GB and that is especially true with Vista if that is your OS of choice. It will work with 2x1GB however there are solid advantages to 2x2GBWhat ever you decide, memory timing is critical so at DDR2 800 to DDR2 1000 the highest timing you want to have is CAS 4-4-4 and with DDR2 1066 and above CAS 5-5-5as for FSx settings.. this is what I run http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_post...D=149607#149607however I also run a very fast DDR3 Quad system and I would suggest AL/GA traffic for you be reduced to 35% along with car traffic no higher than 8-10I use the 174.74 Beta drivers for the video card and also use Nhancer as explained in this posthttp://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_post...D=156769#156769good luck

I dont have a link list for everythingfor the base of the sim I run FSGenesis Mesh, both the world and the 10m USA product, I also use the NEXTMap ProMesh products, UTX (all versions) and GEX. I use 3 different payware landclass products (FSGenesis, Scenerytech, Xclass for USA, Canada, Asia, EU) and the default) which must be installed and setup up with UTX correctly as outlined in this threadhttp://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=24965

>One might consider that anything below an 8800GT>will hurt. Anything above, won't help. So an upgrade from a 8800GTS (585 core clock) to a 9800GTX+ (core clock 768) wont positively impact FSX FPS at all IMHO?
