Specifications advice

I've read a lot of posts here that look like this - now it's my turn :)In about a month from now (depending on finance) I hope to be building a new FS computer to replace the machine detailed below in the signiture - it's lasted well (especially with a wee bit of tinkering and overclocking) but now it's time to upgrade!So... the specifications I am currently looking at are as follows:> CPU = Core2Duo E8600 (I aim to OC to 4.0-4.5GHz)> MoBo = ASUS Rampage Extreme (would get a Striker II Extreme but want to stay with ATI GFX cards for now)> RAM = 2 x 1GB Ballistix PC3-16000 (but will buy the new Mushkin Ascent 2GB kit if it becomes available in time ... please?)> PSU = Enermax Galaxy 1000W (I already have this)> GFX = 1 x ATI HD4870 PCIe 512Mb (More than 512Mb with XP 32bit not advised I hear)> HDD = 2 x WD Velociraptor 300GB + 500BG WD Caviar (which I already have)> Audio = Creative X-Fi Fatality Gamer (I already have this)> Case = Thermaltake Tai-Chi with inbuilt watercooling (just because I always liked the look of it and now it's discontinued so I can get it cheap)> WiFi card, DVD+-RW, Floppty drive/card reader etc etc... (who cares)I was also considering an ASUS Striker II Extreme / nVidia 8800 combo but no review I've seen convinces me that the ridiculous AA issues that drove me over to the ATI side have been solved. This machine is for graphics and modelling apps (work) and for a fully tricked out installation of FS9. Until my "usual" FS airports are made for FSX I'm not really interested... It's certainly upgradable anyway...Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated. Especially any good or bad experiences with combinations of these components...Cheers,Geoff
