November 27, 200817 yr Hey guys,Sorry for the tangent but this might help anyone who like me runs dual Nvidia video cards (non-SLI) to power multiple monitors so I thought I would share. I play with Rail Simulator on my 2nd XP64 OS that I also have FSX installed on. I sort of use that as my guinea pig system. Long story short I was playing with Nhancer settings and for years I have run combined 8XS and 16x AF (Thanks Ryan, I still follow your tips :) ). While playing around for RailSim I clicked on SLI AA by mistake and read the description which said it is for older games or games that can not use SLI. This setting allows the game to use both video cards for AA only to improve the graphics quality.. After I enabled this on box 2 RailSim went from quite choppy to butter smooth. It was a huge improvement, so I decided to try the same setting on my other XP64 OS which runs FS9 and I am really impressed.. Not only are the graphics cleaner and more precise but the smoothness factor otherwise known as SF (Oh yeah, I made that up LOL) is the biggest difference I noticed. So if you have Dual Nvidia cards and you want to experience that floating effect which is what makes FS feel as real as possible IMHO; go into NHancer and try SLI 8X for AA...Not sure how much horsepower this setting really takes either but on my system it had zero performance impact.. (specs below for reference) Hope the AA setting helps!!-PaulPrimary RigIntel C2D E8500 468X9.5 @ 4.45 Liquid CooledAsus Maximus Extreme Liquid Cooled4 gigs OCZ Reaper DDR3 @1400Dual OC'd XFX 8800GTX @ 2 gigs Liquid CooledDual VelociRaptor 10k 3gb/s RAID-0Dual WD Caviar 500 gig Raid-0Single 150Gig SATA2 Swap Drive28 inch LCD 16XAA/16XAFDual 19 inch LCD'sSaitek Yoke, Saitek Rudders, Go-Flight Flap,Gear and Trim Controlhttp://home.comcast.net/~psolk/3monitorsa.htmlBackup RigsIntel E6600 @ 3.2Asus P5N32E-SLI Plus3 Gigs Kingston Hyper XXFX 8600 GTAMD 4000 San Diego @ 2.72 Gigs Kingston Corsair XMS CL2XFX 7900 GTX Raid-0 Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
