Concorde on FlightGear

Featured Replies

Hi everybody,I've assumed the afterburner to be operational in the FlightGear sim, and providing this is accurate, I'm unable to find the command to operate it both on the keyboard and on the aircraft 3d panel. I'm also taking for granted, due to my rather scarce knowledge on both flight simulation and actual flight practice, the fact that this device should only be used during taking off phase, but don't know exactly when [seldomly(?)] it might also be used in other circumstances. The engine sound of the aircraft after taking off and reaching about 6000 ft, changes automatically into something like as if it has finally additional thrust by the opening of the afterburner. Then a beep signal (stall?) begins and the aircraft starts its sad fall to the ground. The nose up/down command also, does not work on the keyboard keys [/] in accordance to the user manual of operation. I've found the command on the actual 3d panel, but it is difficult to operate the nose features from the panel and switching the mouse pointer while guiding the aircraft through the runaway centerline. Thanks for any help.
