Download problems

I too am having some problems with downloads when using a download manager, in this case Download Accelerator Plus, when I attempt to use the hi speed mode, I have a cable connection. If I use normal, which by passes the accelerated feature the download goes along OK with a slight loss of speed. I have not had this particular problem with the few other web sites I use.

Sorry Tom, either the download process would stop and lock up, or I would get a "windows" type alert that Download Accelerator was having a problem and was stopping the download.

I run DAP and have no issues with it on our system. Your problems sound like they may be configuration issues on your machine. Are you behind a firewall of any kind?
