Hi Jim,Really depends on your monitor's capabilities and your eyesight ;)In my case:Desktop and most applications and games = 1024x768x32 (85Hz)FS2002 (Full Screen) = 1280x960x32 (85Hz)My System Spec:Gigabyte GA-8IRXP MoBoIntel Pentium 4 2.2A512MB Crucial PC2100 DDR Ram3D Blaster4 Ti4400 (Creative's 30.82 driver variants tweaked with RivaTuner LOD -0.1 and Anisotropy forced level 4)Sony Multiscan G200 17" MonitorSB Audigy Player (Drivers version 5.12.01.0253 Signed)Deskstar 120GXP UDMA100 HDs x 2 (60 and 40 Gig)CH Products USB Yoke, Pedals and FighterstickPlantronics Headset and Mike comboPlexWriter 40/12/40APioneer DVD-106SWindows XP Home Edition (SP1)DirectX 8.1AGP Aperture = 128MBMike :-wave

With my 19" (system in profile) I run my desktop at 1280X1024X32 at 85hz. Looks very nice and not too small. FS and games are run at 1600X1200X32 at 75hz most of the time.

1024x768 (32it) at 100Hz (81.4kHz).
