I use the POSKY supplied 757 paint kit (white) to fool around and see if I could paint a jet. I use an existing painted jet and only painted half the jet to see how my finished compared to the existing jet. I notice that the original on the left side has much better transparecy / reflections when you look at the bottom of the nose. How do I get my paint job to look as good as the paint job on the left side of the screen capture? I used PhotoShop to do my paint job, save as a TGA, and then use ImageTool to convert to a BMP. Well, I kind of solved my own problem for now. It had to do with adding an alpha channel with the proper grey scale.

The link to your image doesn't work, so I can't see exactly what you are talking about. However, the alpha channel greatly influences the nature of reflections, and this may be the difference.
