Default 2K2 747

Featured Replies

Hey Guys, I'm trying to repaint a new logo onto the side of the 2K2 default 747. I know that it is single sided but I am just going to use it for a promo screenshot taken from the port side. However there is a "Decal" texture ( decal_b747_400 ) which displays the default airline logo " World Travel Airlines ". I have tried several different ways to prevent it from displaying but at the moment the decal logo text still shows through my new text as a reflextive texture. Is there a way to not have the decal texture show? Thanks

Have you tried removing the decal file from your texture directory?Dan.

Hi Dan, thanks for the quick reply. I have tried renaming the decal bmp within the 747 Texture 3 folder ( my new livery )and then deleting the original from that folder. However I have not tried from within the main 2K2 texture folder. At present I can make the decal show as all black ( trying to make it transparent ) all white ( trying to make it blend with the fuselage ) or appear as a grey rectangle ( by deleting the decal texture ). So far all this happens on top of my new text.I will try deleting from the main texture folder but I have a sneaky feeling that it will leave a blank space again. ( grey rectangle ).I'll keep you posted.
