Mystery - cockpit windows went suddenly black

Hello fellow simmers,Yesterday while flying my DC3 I

it called, "nightfall." Just a thought. R-

I've had video driver problems before where the 3D world is somehow blacked out. It affected the 2D cockpit in the manner you described (the panel itself isn't 3D so it isn't affected) but it also gave me a lot of display problems with the outside views as well. But never in the middle of the flight... that's just strange. Unless maybe your video card is overheating or something, but that's just a shot in the dark.

My guess would be that you have the maam DC3 and have discovered that the cockpit that comes with it is payware and only allows you to fly for 5 minutes before it goes black. Check the readme file and go to their site and pay the $5.00 shareware fee which goes to a good cause and enjoy that wonderful cockpit.

Hi,maybe you are into somthing here! I did fly the N1776 "Airways" company plan but I also have the MAAM's R4D-6 which I bought and fly more then once. Maybe something were mixed when I loaded the a/c. Thanks anyway for the lead.Shay
