March 4, 200521 yr I did my first repaint yesterday... Pretty neat.I'm pretty good with Photoshop (CS), so I set-up FS Repaint to use it as an external editor. It loaded the textures OK to PS, and after I did an edit, it saved O.K. back to FS Repaint (as a temp file for it's use there), but FS Repaint would not recognize any change in the viewer. Further, then when I finally saved it back to the FS9 program (when finished in FS Repaint), it warned of a permanent change, but nothing changed.Everything worked fine on the FS Repaint internal editor however, and all changes showed-up and saved OK. So I did with this program, what others have suggested for the "DEMO" program, and made my changes using DXTBMP and Photoshop, always saving back to FS9, and then reloading FS Repaint to view. Then I made the DXTBMP extended bitmap conversion, only as the last save (for use in the working FS9 program.Anybody know what's happening ? All this started from reading "danowat's" great post, and follow-up answers. I read the "calclassic.com" tutorial and jumped into the game.My first repaint looks great, and I naturally had to fire up "Fraps" and make a movie of my new custom bird.Bob (Lecanto, Fl)
