reversed text on engine nacelle

Featured Replies

I recently downloaded Cyril Breton's "Soaring Spirit" 777 repaint from the Avsim library. It's a nice repaint, but I noticed that the logo on the #2 engine nacelle is mirror-image reversed. Is there a simple fix for this? I know absolutely nothing about painting aircraft. I downloaded the DXTBmp converter program, and I do have Photoshop.

Hey :)What 777 is it using? I would guess that the text is reversed because both engines share the same texture. Just had a check, if you're using the default 777 then its likely this is the problem. MS mapped their aircraft for performance, so there are parts which are shared between areas. I see there is the same repaint made for the MelJet 777 but I guess you wanted the virtual cockpit?

Yes, the default 777. I was poking around in the texture files, and there is just a single engine, so obviously that's the problem.I couldn't find this Soaring Spirit livery for the MelJet 777 in the Avsim library, but it looks like it's available on other sites. Thanks.

File name is boeing_777232er_delta_soaringspirit.zipThere also appears to be a nice 757 in the same livery, search "Soaring Spirit" as a general search.
