Uploading re-paints into Pmdg 737 700 aicraft files

Featured Replies

can anyone help, after painting the 737-700 pmdg templates using photoshop 7. How do I load the templates into fltsim 2004 in order to use them on my aircraft. I have some neet painting tricks to share with photoshop users but until I can see my repaints on a working aicraft I'm not sure if my re-paints will work. Also Ihave used the Adobe templates and not the TGA files.RegardsPangaul

I'm unsure of how this particular aircraft is structured.. but hopefully its fairly similar. These are the steps I take, some do it differently.. anyway..Save the template file as a bmp from photoshop. Save the alpha channel as a seperate bmp.Use DXTBmp, open the paint scheme in it.Import the alpha channel.Resave as either 32bit of DXT3 depending on preference.Theres a little tutorial on my site (link below) about converting paint schemes for flight sim use. Let me/us know if you need any more help :)
