April 24, 200620 yr I was trying to learn how to use psd texture formats for painting aircraft. I had downloaded POSKY's psd paintkit for their 737-800, and painted it accordingly. However, what do you do upon completion? Convert it to a .bmp file and just place it in the textures folders? Or does the psd file have to be broken down into the individual sections like in the default .bmp texture files?
April 24, 200620 yr From the sounds of it, they used a paint kit covering the entire aircraft.. this was obviously so it is easier to paint. You'll need to follow what the texture files look like in the texture folder.. which sounds like it means splitting them up into the sections. Remember to convert them for flight sim use :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
