Tinmouse

Featured Replies

I'm a newbie here so please bear with me.I'm trying to paint the Tinmouse II. I can get the wings and tail ok. But I cannot seem to get the fuselage right. The fuselage in the paintkit comes with one template in psd format. I see that other people who have painted the same model have four different bmp's for the fuselage. What is the process to get four bmp images out of the one template? Thanks in advance. I have read other posts on this topic and I am still confused. Thank you.

It can be a bit tricky, essentially what you're looking at doing is using that psd for all 4 bmps. You could either create the paint scheme on the psd then transfer all the layers over to the 4 bmps. You'll need to create a "reference" layer so you can re-align the paint scheme.Alternatively you can put the 4 bmps on to the psd and use them as a guide to crop the psd for each bmp.

Thank you for your reply. Just to clarify, create my paint scheme on the psd, then crop each the four sections, flatten each image, then save as bmps. My problem arises, when I try to save the bmps as 1024 x 1024, it distorts the image, then they dont line up. I hope I'm clear.
