Loss of textures

Featured Replies

Hi Folks.I have made some basic alterations to textures before, mainly just altering a/c numbers and airline lettering etc. However, this time after using the clone tool in PSP to 'cover up' lettering prior to repainting, the whole texture has disappeared in Flight Sim. The aircraft loads in what I assume is just the bare buff colour of the basic model. No textures at all. No panel lines, rivets etc.Does anyone have an idea what has happened? Is it possible that the original painter has incorporated some code to prevent repainting?I have saved my work by hitting the save button in PSP as normal.Regards...Ken

Folks, I feel kinda embarrassed here. No excuses, but I don't keep too well and sometimes my medication makes me a bit forgetfull. I enjoy my sim as a bit of therapy. Anyway, my pc has recently suffered a major wipeout leading to a complete re-install.Guess what. I forgot all about DXTbmp and have not put it back on yet.I just went straight to PSP from the texture folder. I am assuming that is why my repaint has not worked this time.I will re-install DXTbmp and try again. DOHH!!Regards...Ken

That'll be the one :)Feel free to ask any questions though! (regardless of how silly they seem :()
