February 23, 200521 yr Hi,During real-world flying I have been able to log GPS-data as well as aircraft attitude data (roll, pitch, heading). Now, I would love to be able to input this data into the FS2004, and thus be able to look at the flight from FS2004.Any ideas how this could be done? I am a programmer, but have no experience with programing towards FS2004 (or other versions for that matter). I was thinking that since it is possible to fly several people over a network, maybe I could hack my way into this protocol to feed my real-world flight data into FS2004. I should then be able to see the aircraft at least (but would I be able to "sit inside" the aircraft and follow the instruments and cockpit view??)Another way could be to create "replay"-files, or videos, like the ones you can store from FS2004. Is there anywhere around here I could find some documentation on the format of these?Or maybe some of you have some far better ideas...It would surely be great to be able to playback real-world flights on the PC, agree??Thanks, and have a nice flight.-jostein
March 1, 200521 yr Have a look at the FSUIPC SDK, available here:http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.htmlYou can do that kind of thing with it. Depending on the amount of data you have, and the amount you want to feed into the sim, you should be able to get intelligent readings from at least some of the instruments.Regards,Doug
March 3, 200521 yr build a video file from your data and then play it. Go to http://rob.com/lancair/ and email Rob. He did it with his data.Regards,BobS
