Autopilot disconnect alarm

Seems to me there should be some sort of audible alarm when the autopilot is disconnected. Noticed on the last couple of flights that when I disconnect the autopilot there is no sound. Have not altered the sound file or installed anything new into the Dash-8 files. Thanks for your input.Joe
