Saving Dash 8 Flights

I have been saving flights half way through so I can come back to the flight later. Problem is when I open the flight up again not all of the controls and switches are where I left them (on or off etc). I usually pause the flight when it opens and reconfigure all the controls back to where they should be. I have to turn on the AP and reset the ALT/SEL etc. Have to turn on some of the overhead panel swithces and re-initial the FMS and load the route back in.Engines are running (which is good).Is there a way to get it to save all the configurations correctly?Note for the uninitiated, make sure you deselect "Start with engines off" and "Start with a cold and dark cockpit" in the Panel Config. Bit hard to start the A/C up from scratch at 24000 ft.Any help appreciated,ThanksStephan
