January 28, 200323 yr Here's one of the many pictures making the rounds on the net after the reviews of the GF-FX yesterday:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e36ab4e3373bef3.jpg:-lol :-lol :-lolAnd to bring you even more mirth on this fine tuesday, here's a comparison that struck me yesterday:---I thought the excruciating high pitch whine of the GF-FX rang a bell!Listen to this MP3:http://www.arocsd.org/Chauffe2.mp3(warning: turn down your volume - this is recorded VERY LOUD)Then compare it to the GF-FX running 3dMark for a second and quitting back to the desktop:http://www.tomshardware.com/graphic/200301...x-3dmark-hq.mp3The first is the sound of a "10-cylinder, 750 horsepower Asiatech F1 engine being warmed up. Then it performs a rousing version of When The Saints Come Marching In"!Actually, I think the high pitched, annoying whine of the GF-FX is *worse* than the F1 warming up... Not to mention it makes better music! **shudder**---Indeed, there's no need for aircraft designers to include custom wav files in FS anymore - just turn off your speakers and you're all set. Finally, something comes along that makes an FS developers work *easier* for once! Thanks NV! :-sun1Elrond
