Airbus and FS9 problem!

Recommended Posts

Guest tony21ny

Ok i have never had any problems with any addon or flightsim. The only thing i really care to fly are my PSS aibus' Recently i had my first major problem, three days later and 5 clean reinstalls later still the same. My patience is obviously wearing thin now can you guys please help me. First My system Pent4 2.01024mb ddr2-nvidia gforce4 mx420windows xp home sp2 Now the problem i cant get certain digits to display in any of my Airbuses' what i am talking about is all my autopilot indicators at the top of my panel. I can tune the selector knobs and i know it is adjusting because i see it all on my ecam display 1. but on top (as you can see in the attachment) stays completely blank. i have fiddled with different versions of fsuipc battery life etc... but no luck. I got curious and started checking some of my other aircraft and having problems there to. example in the default cessna 172 default flight my radio stack windows all show completly blank also, on my main panal my nav1, nav2 and clock all are blank also. Now the only thing I find consistant is the font. Flightsim still recognizes it as being there and i can still select however it will not display for me. Like i said i have tried various things to try to fix the issue but no luck. i went from fs9.1 fsuipc3.40 and tons of addons to default install with only maybe airbus pro for the time being and still have the same results. everything is always set to default and always have the problem now, its not the battery problem i originally thought because fs recognizes the variables being changed as i said before. Please any help would be greatly appreciated!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/97236.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/97237.jpg

It looks to me that you need to re-register one of the fonts used by the PSS panel in WinXP. As to which one, only PSS tech support can answer that. One you figure out which font it is, just move the xxxx.ttf file out of the windowsfonts folder and drop it back it...WinXP will automatically register it.Bob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Washington, DC
