ILS to VOR in RAD-NAV problem with A330

I just experienced a problem with a recent flight where I had the MCDU all programmed from airport to airport. I also had an ILS course programmed in for the approach. However, I opted to change to a manual VOR approach at the last second. However, the MCDU would not allow me to change the course or frequency in the RAD-NAV page (it would change for a second, then change back.) One thing I didn't try was deleting out the ILS approach from the MCDU.. Would this have solved my problem? I even turned off the autopilot and then tried to enter the new VOR info in the RAD-NAV, still no luck.Any thoughts?Thanks!Kev
