RAT OUT?

Recommended Posts

OKay I have a question. Before I proceed I need to announce that I have RTFM's and searched through the forums but I didn't see anything that relates to my problem.3 times already I have tried to make my approach and landing into KPHX in the A319 and ALL 3 TIMES the engines cut out just as I lower to flaps one during capture of the ILS. I scurry to restart the engines but no-go. By the time I even try to restart it stalls and falls to the ground. I have even tried CNTRL+E the third time thinking maybe it would start the engines faster- but all I get is the orange N1 as if I was out of fuel or something. I have plenty of fuel on landing- most cases at least 2000 lbs. (not sure if that's too much?). Anyhow-I am using FS2004.Anyone know what I am doing wrong or has anyone experienced this problem? I hope to finally some day land at KPHX without having to restart my flight at SFO, this route is getting old ;)

The engines will only (if you have to) restart in the air with the APU on.Don DormehlProud South African PSS Supporter
