Will PSS go for a A380?

Considering the wonderful work done on airbus series by PSS, I a bit surprised that these guys are going for Boeing as a new product, considering how much more exciting a A380 would be. Furthermore, I assume PSS life would be a lot easier to go on with the A380 (and future A350?) as the panel and gauges probably won't change a lot and so a good part of the job would be already done.To me, PSS earned my respect with their Airbus series. They ARE the airbus specialists for FS. Si why going to boeing that has already been largely exploited by other FS companies in every possible ways? To finish with, I don't think Boeing is offering any more interresting products and will be very soon trying to catch up with airbus in the real world.

I would not expect Pss to go for the 380 right this moment, they will be concentrating on the 777. That was through popular demand I believe. It will no doubt, have crossed their minds and I would not be surprised if they suddenly announce a future 380.With lessons learned from their experience of a3xx, they would be able to produce such a bird, but with fs9 limitations, the fly by wire could not be modelled. Perhaps the next version of fs would make that possible.In the meantime, there are a couple of free 380's on avsim which fly surprisingly well, but do not have a proper panel.The current a340 is about as close as you're gonna get for now.I reckon though, that if Pss do decide on the 380, their loyal customers would welcome it with open arms.Only prob is that Pss have lost one of their most talented members of the dev team and will find it hard to replace him.

I agree. An A380 with the same quailty as the recent Concorde panel would be an amazing product, and very popular I think. Where's my credit card...
