A330/A340 Wingtip Trails

Hi there, I cant get rid of the wingtip trails that appear above the winglets on the A330 and A340, I have tried going into the cockpit and out again but they are still there?Does anyone know if there is a file somewhere in the FS9 effects folder or in the air.cfg file that I can delete to get rid of it?Thanksgav
