I just had a cable modem installed.( Now I can download planes without having to set it up before bed.) I downloaded ZoneAlarm as I saw recommend here on this forum. I was previously running Norton Antivirus. Do I let both of them run or do I shut down Norton AntiVirus.Thanks Chuck

Yes you do. A firewall only helps protect your computers from port scans,exploits .etc. The virus scanner is still a must .I personally like Blackice Defender alot more .Iam not a fan of software firewalls but if I had to have one BlackIce would be it. It's what I recommend to my to customers until they ask me to install a unix firewall like I have :) If you do anything like vatsim you will need to open up tcp port 3782 and I believe udp 3782 as well. If they are using voice I believe it's udp 64300.
