Is there a freeware pushback vehicle available?

Featured Replies

In the default FS2k2 scenery, aircraft are magically pushed back without any vehicle attached to it.I tried to search for it and did not find any. Is there any pushback verhicle that will be shown being attached to your aircraft when you press SHFT-P? Cheers,David

I made a freeware pushback truck which is available on Avsim file libraries, search either my name - Alan Bradbury or the file's name - pushback.zip. It's for FS2000 so it'll probably be okay for FS2002 although to be honest I haven't checked.I made it for FS Traffic and the .cfg file is actually the Cessna 172! which doesn't matter if you use it for FS Traffic's ground stuff. Whether you could persuade someone to make it appear during the use of the pushback facility in FS is another matter as I wouldn't have a clue how to go about it, nevertheless if you can find someone who knows, then I don't mind them using my creation for that purpose at all.BTW it's actually in the colours of WestWind Airlines cos I fly for them, but I don't suppose that will bother you to much as airlines use each other's trucks a lot anyway, besides, you can always repaint it, feel free, it's freeware after all!

Go to www.lagoonline.com and get FS Assist. You can install it as a trial and the pushback truck works fine. I hear if you uninstall it, the truck still works. Just disable all the frame rate goodies and viola you have a decent truck :)
