Dear, please sign your name per forum policy. As stated in the previous response select the runway in the MCDU (FMC in Boeing speak). Ensure you have the NAV1 and NAV2 in auto. Do not manually tune the ILS (I learned that one the hard way). When you are within range of the ILS ensure you press the "ILS" button in the autopilot area. It will automatically tune for you and you can do your normal ILS approach with ease.
