February 3, 200323 yr Hi AllToday I noticed that I have a problem altering my sound with the sliders in the options menu to the effect that they are doing nothing. My engines are too loud and I can hardly hear any of the other options despite turning the engine noise down and everything else up. Anyone else with the same problem or got a solution.Zack Laws
February 4, 200323 yr Do the ON/OFF selection boxes work? If not, rename your fs2002.cfg to fs2002.cfg.OLD, restart fs2002, let it stabilize, select options settings, sound, uncheck the engine sound box, return to fs2002, and observe that the engine is not heard (ensure the engine is running before doing the test). If it does turn OFF the engine sound, open the sound adjustment panel, turn ON the sound, and adjust the slider to see if it makes a difference. If not, then you have other sound problems with either the sound.dll module, which you can retrieve from your fs2002 CDs using an unzipping program or a problem with your sound codec/system. February 5, 200323 yr HiMany thanks for your reply, but I think FS2002 may be playing silly B!*!*s with me. I have just opened it up to try your solutions and find everything now working perfect without touching it? But my cockpit views have now vanished?Must be time for a reinstallation. Many thanks again for the help.Zack Laws
