Project Fokker 100/70 heading hold problem

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hey simmers, Has anyone flying the Fokker 100/70 encountered a heading hold difficulty where after the heading hold is initiated, the aircraft starts a momentary right turn of about 10 degrees? If so, what could be causing this and does anyone have a fix? Thanks!Ed Jenkins

EdI don't think that that problem is limited to the Fokker project. Almost every passanger jet I fly ( or have flown ) in FS2002 has on occasion exhibited that tendency. Radar Contact 2.x was a real stickler for holding the heading after T/O and prior to contacting departure. I was always getting yelled at when I would click on the A/P and heading and the aircraft would make a momentary drift to the right. Did not occur in FS2000 but is a regular happening in FS2002. Matter of fact it was one of the first oddball things I noticed in FS2002. If it's something in my system I sure have not been able to find the cause !!JimBob
