Problem with Autothrottle/TOGA

Recommended Posts

Guest sooty

I downloaded the 1.1 Patch yesterday PM, have completed about 6 flights so far.I am experiencing a problem with autothrottles refusing to engage correctly. This is a new install on a fresh installation of FS9.1.Loaded 777 after using C172 with avionics & batt on as recommended.Startup from Cold & Dark by the checklists. Get all the way to the runway, line up, right click on A/T arm switch or use joystick button for TOGA. THR REF is announced in green, engines stay at idle.Tried disengaging / reengaging A/T but to no avail. This has happened twice in 6 flights. Quite frustrating to go through start-up, taxi and not to be able to T/O.Did manual T/O but tough to fly without A/T for long periods.PFD showed correct V-speeds and N1 limit was showing on EICAS. No recall messages. All EICAS information pages looked ok.Any Ideas?Martin.

Martin,Is it just the TOGA that isnt working? For example were you able to tune the radios? Was this in VC or 2d?

Hi Norman, Just seemed to be TOGA, could control engines with the throttle (Saitek X52). Didn't try to tune NAV radios, was talking to ATC fine though. Was 2-D only Cockpit. Just re-tried the same flight and had no problems at all. Will try and get better info next time it happens.Regards,Martin.
